Winners: Jak and Malvino

Jak

Captain Zanthillie late* of his Imperial Majesty’s flagship Invincible, now land-locked and making the best of a life on four legs. Renown for the use of the wind and currents for his swift attacks at sea he seems to have retained this ability for the Whirlwind Attack on land. His brace of pistols help with this but he does prefer to use his Privateer’s Sabre, as it is a constant reminder of where he soon hopes to return.

Late*as in it sunk two weeks after he became its captain – If he finds out which of his cannon crew fired below the water line they’ll be walking the plank.

Malvino

Barolo, halfing lord of Miragliano. He has Quick shot, note the brace of pistol. He carry a mighty Arquebus and called it “big mama” using special Wyrdstone Bullets he carry a big amount of these bullet around his chest and in the end he was totally drunken with the Liquor of Immovable Resolution a bottle of original “barolo wine” on his foot as Barolo says “I was born in tilea but my native land is MONEY and so i will fight for you until you pay me!”

Contest Info

As you may or may not know, special army lists were constructed to support this campaign. It’s time to make them come alive!

As a first opportunity for that, you are invited to create your own character based on those in the aforementioned lists. This can be a condottiere, dwarf, ogre, halfling, rat, Orc, goblin, skeleton or wizard, a lord or a hero, it’s all up to you. Just make that mini you’re picturing in your mind.

Bonus points can be earned by depicting one or more of the lists’ magic items on your mini, as well as by clearly illustrating the characters’ skill(s).

Participants should send a picture of their converted mini to me via PM. Also, you must include a short description of what or who your mini is.

Something like : “Carlucciano de la banda bianca, Condottiere of His Lordship the
Duke of Miragliano, depicted riding his faithful steed Piccolino. He wears the Battle-harness of Curious Lethargy and carries a bottle containing the Liquor of Immovable Resolution. Being a quick shot, he carries two brace of pistols.”

Entry in this competition will earn you Campaign Gold, and winning it (or ending well in the ranking) even more. This Gold will then be of use to you during the campaign (you never know who you want to hire, or bribe for that matter).
